Our Eternal Tomb - Preliminary Initial Concept Art

2020 is the year that I finally explore an old idea I’ve been thinking about for years. I’ve written a story or a version of it for the last 15 years and I have decided to start visualising it with an initial round of very simple concept art to get the mood and tone of the setting down and pick out some key features to focus on in further more detailed concept art rounds. Here is the first of those pieces of art, I’ll talk about some of the story behind these initial concept.

Let’s start with some of the story and introduce you to some of the concept art pieces so far:

“Centuries ago, a large space craft, now called the metal tomb or old god by others crashed onto a distance world; lush, beautiful and filled with mystery. Hundreds of years later, humans awoke from the ship, mature but without memories of any past lives. Society began to rebuild, with this crashed ship being their initial shelter but quickly they expanded to a small town… reminiscent of the medieval period on Earth, specifically England; the time of knights, swords, blacksmiths and King Arthur.”
